In order to let domestic corporations attain the latest market information of countries to the south of Taiwan, on 29 November 2017 the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Commerce Development Research Institute (CDRI) held a forum, titled “New Vision New Great Leap Forward Southwardly, Leading to Taiwan’s Great Future – International Summit Forum of New Southward ING ASEAN/India”. It invited Taiwanese companies which had great market achievements in the region, as well as companies from Japan, India, Singapore, Malaysia that had successfully established themselves there and also representatives from Cosmetic Industry Research Institute in South Korea to share their insights and speak of their experience in marketing and operating in ASEAN countries and India.
Dr. CY Huang, Chairman of NatureWise Biotech & Medicals Corporation, was invited as one of the forum speakers along with representatives from enterprises that have successfully entered the ASEAN market. The speakers had a consensus that the ASEAN market information provided by CDRI allowed Taiwanese companies help their companies effectively caught the local market’s dynamics, consumption habits, product preferences, channel characteristics, resulting in accelerated processes of entering the market.
